Two wins in two days for Ridgefield boys golf

The Ridgefield High boys golf team got its second win in two days on Wednesday afternoon.

Playing at Oak Hills Golf Course in Norwalk, Ridgefield defeated Brien McMahon, 167-216.

Mark Habeeb shot a 38 to lead the Tigers and take medalist honors.

Teammate Oliver Frossell was one stroke back with a 39.

Brandon Tuccio (43) and Heston Pinard (47) also had their scores count for Ridgefield, which is now 8-4 overall and 8-3 in the FCIAC.

On Monday, Ridgefield had a season-best score of 158 to easily beat Trumbull (172) at Silver Spring Country Club.

Competing with a lineup of of two juniors, one sophomore, and two freshmen, the Tigers shot under 160 for the first time this year.

Pinard finished with a 38 to lead Ridgefield and tie Trumbull's Ryan Levy for medalist honors.

Tuccio (39), Chris Lang (40), and Frossell (41) also contributed to the team score.
