Ridgefield High senior James St. Pierre scored his 1,000th career point during the Tigers' FCIAC boys basketball game Thursday night at Fairfield Warde.

St. Pierre reached the milestone when he hit a three-pointer late in the second quarter of Ridgefield's 60-53 loss to Warde in the final regular-season game for both teams.

Despite the loss, Ridgefield still clinched the fifth seed for the FCIAC playoffs. The Tigers will play fourth-seed New Canaan in a quarterfinal game Saturday at 5 p.m. at Fairfield Warde.
