The opponents were different on Wednesday but the results were the same: Clinical victories for the Ridgefield High boys and girls tennis teams.

In Norwalk, the RHS girls swept Brien McMahon by a score of 7-0. The Tigers won all seven matches in straight sets and lost just nine total games.

At first singles, Aurora Joblon registered a 6-0, 6-2 victory for Ridgefield. Morgan Held (6-3, 6-2), Rachel Bodner (6-0, 6-0), and Alexis Zacharakos (6-0, 6-1) followed with wins at second, third, and fourth singles, respectively.

Ridgefield's doubles teams were even more dominant, dropping only one game.

The Tigers got points from Hillary Sherpa and Jillian O'Keefe (6-0, 6-1) at first doubles, Jennifer Gordon and Julia Driscoll (6-0, 6-1) at second doubles, and Isabel Voellmicke and Phoebe Seidenberg (6-0, 6-0) at third doubles.

Playing on its home court, the Ridgefield boys team defeated Trumbull, 6-1.

Contributing singles wins for the Tigers were Brian Song (6-3, 6-3) at second singles, James Hourihan (6-4, 6-3) at third singles, and Ramiro Davila (6-0, 6-0) at fourth singles.

Ridgefield swept the doubles matches, getting straight-set victories from Tanner Daubenspeck and Noah Butler (6-4, 6-3) at first doubles, Tadd Long and Seth Prusko (6-0, 6-0) at second doubles, and Emmett O'Malley and Carter Schroppe (6-4, 6-2).

Trumbull's lone point came at first singles, as Andy Illie topped Ridgefield's Luke Queiroz, 6-2, 6-2.
