Playoff games, regular-season contests, and two conference championship meets are on the docket for Ridgefield High teams today (May 21).

Baseball: Top-seed Ridgefield hosts eighth-seed Fairfield Ludlowe in an FCIAC quarterfinal game at 4 p.m. at Ciuccoli Field (old high school). The winner advances to tomorrow's conference semifinals (5:30 and 7:30) against either fourth-seed Darien or fifth-seed Trumbull at Cubeta Stadium in Stamford.

Boys lacrosse: Seeded third, Ridgefield opens the FCIAC playoffs with a quarterfinal game versus sixth-seed Greenwich at 4 p.m. at Tiger Hollow. Today's winner faces either second-seed New Canaan or seventh-seed St. Joseph in the semifinals on Wednesday night (5 and 7) at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk.

Boys tennis: After beating sixth-seed Westhill, 7-0, in the quarterfinals last Friday, third-seed Ridgefield hits the road today to play second-seed Greenwich in the conference semifinals at 4 p.m. The winner meets either top-seed Staples or fourth-seed Darien in the FCIAC finals on Wednesday at 2:30 at Wilton High School.

Boys and girls track: Both Ridgefield teams travel to New Haven to compete in the FCIAC championship meets today (1:30) at Southern Connecticut State University.

Boys golf: Ridgefield resumes the regular season with a match at 3:15 against host Fairfield Ludlowe at Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield.

Girls golf: In another regular-season match, Ridgefield travels to Westport to play Staples at the Longshore Golf Course (3 p.m.).

Notes: The Ridgefield High boys volleyball team is seeded second in the six-team FCIAC playoffs. After getting a bye in today's playdown round, the Tigers meet either third-seed Darien or sixth-seed New Canaan in the semifinals on Wednesday (5 and 7) at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
