Ridgefield High athletes sign for college programs

Five Ridgefield High School seniors recently signed letters of intent or assurance to compete for college programs.

She earned both the fall and winter FCIAC scholar-athlete award and the Most Outstanding Runner award twice for cross country.

Viggiano was the FCIAC cross country champion this fall and also earned All-State and All-New England honors. She has also made the All-FCIAC, All-State and All-New England track teams, and received honorable mention at the New Balance Nationals. Viggiano holds indoor track school records in the 4x800 and sprint medley relays.
