With 12 players scoring points, the Ridgefield High girls basketball team blasted Bridgeport Central, 71-33, on Tuesday night in Bridgeport.

The victory was the eighth straight for the Tigers, who improved to 10-3 overall and 8-2 in the FCIAC.

Sabrina Grizzaffi led Ridgefield with 14 points, including seven in the first quarter.

Also hitting double figures for the Tigers were Faith Arnold and Katie Flynn with 11 points apiece. Flynn scored all of her points during the middle two quarters, while Arnold scored seven of her points in the fourth period.

Kate Wagner, Norah McNeece, Kate Garson, and Kelly Chittenden added five points apiece for Ridgefield, and Megan Klosowski and Isabella Giordano each had four points.
