Four Ridgefield High wrestlers have moved on to the championship semifinals of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference championship.

Ben Smart, Jesse Walker, Peter Murray, and Simon Preston advanced after winning first- and second-round matches Friday at New Canaan High School. The semifinals, finals, and consolation-bracket matches will take place Saturday in New Canaan.

Seeded third at 132 pounds, Walker got a first-round bye and then pinned Mikey SantaLucia of McMahon in 2:34.

Also seeded third, at 145 pounds, Murray followed up a first-round bye with a 9-3 decision over William Holmes of Trumbull.
