With senior Caroline Curnal scoring her 100th career goal, the Ridgefield High girls lacrosse team routed host Glastonbury, 17-7, on Saturday.

Curnal entered the game three goals shy of the century mark. After scoring two earlier goals, Curnal got her 100th goal with 11:53 left in the first half.

Curnal finished with four goals and two assists for the Tigers, who led 11-3 at halftime.

Caitlin Slaminko added four goals and an assist, while Maeve Tobin contributed three goals and Mae Briody had two goals and three assists.

"Mae Briody proved she could both find the net and her teammates ..." said Ridgefield head coach Cece Berger. "Mae dominated the offensive game in the first half."

Grace Egan, Aly Gagnon, Abby Winkler, and Katie Hoban also scored for Ridgefield, which is now 9-4 overall this season.

Lexi Held made seven saves in goal for the Tigers.

"Defenders Sammy Lehaney, Ellie O'Connor, Lexi Pass, Bella Carrozza, Gretchen Healy, Isabel Papa, Joanna Gengo, and Jenn Paul kept the pressure on the Glastonbury offense in the second half and held them to just four goals," said Berger.
