The Ridgefield girls cross country team swept three opponents on Monday in Trumbull to finish the dual-meet season with a 15-0 record.

The Tigers defeated reigning FCIAC, Class LL and State Open champ Danbury (20-41) and also added wins over Darien (20-40) and St. Joseph (15-50).

Led by Tess Pisanelli, Ridgefield’s five scoring runners finished in the top-nine overall. Pisanelli was first overall in a time of 19:49 for the 3.1-mile race.

Katie Rector (third, 20:00), Elizabeth Jasminski (fifth, 20:19), Georgia Keller (seventh, 21:05), and Kate Langis (ninth, 21:15) also contributed to the Tigers’ team score.

The Ridgefield boys team beat Darien (25-35) and St. Joseph (17-46) but lost to Danbury (21-37).

Leo Rector was first for the Tigers and fifth overall in a time of 18:14.

Matthew McDonough (seventh, 18:25), Charles MacArthur (ninth, 18:36), Ryan Donovan (13th, 18:55), and Oliver Dunn (15th, 19:18) rounded out Ridgefield’s scoring.
