From there the Cyclones battled back, eventually tying the game, 4-4, in the sixth inning, and sending it into extra innings.

After both teams were held scoreless in the seventh inning, the Cyclones plated one run in the top of the eighth to take a, 5-4, lead.

The resilient Ridgefield Travel Baseball 12s responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning for a walk-off victory, punching their ticket to the finals.

The championship game was played under the bright lights of Rogers Park Field in Danbury, where the Ridgefield Travel Baseball 12s faced the Ardsley Heat.

It was a close contest throughout. The teams traded runs in the first inning before the Heat took a, 2-1, lead in the second inning of the game.
