Giselda (Santini) Torcellini, 92, of Ridgefield, CT, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 with her family by her side. Giselda, better known as Jess, was born on July 14th, 1926 in Ridgefield. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leanna (Travaglini) Santini. She attended Ridgefield Schools and was a graduate of Ridgefield High School. A lifelong resident of Ridgefield, Jess was a member of St. Mary\u2019s Roman Catholic Church and the Italian American Ladies Mutual Aid Society. She was the bookkeeper at Pamby Motors Inc. for 49 years. She is survived by her niece, Laurie Santini McCarthy of Southbury, CT, and six nephews, John Pambianchi, James Tarsi, Michael Pambianchi, Fred Pambianchi, Chris Santini, and Steven Santini, all of Ridgefield, CT. Ms. Torcellini was predeceased by her brother, Joseph G. Santini, and three sisters, Marjorie Tarsi, Florinda Santini, and Gilda Pambianchi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:15AM at St. Mary\u2019s Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ms. Torcellini\u2019s memory made be made to The Prospector Theater, 25 Prospect Street, Ridgefield or the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department, 6 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
