Elsie (Torcellini) Bartolucci, 91, of Ridgefield, wife of the late Enzo Bartolucci, died on Friday morning, March 29, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bartolucci was born in North Salem, NY, February 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Nazzareno and Matilda (Paterniani) Torcellini. At the age of seven, Mrs. Bartolucci relocated to Ridgefield with her family, attended Ridgefield schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School in the Class of 1940. In early years, Mrs. Bartolucci was a hostess at the former Elm\u2019s Inn of Ridgefield . Married in 1946 to Enzo Bartolucci, together they co-owned the former Wayside Market and Liquor Store of Ridgefield. Mrs. Bartolucci enjoyed bowling, gardening, traveling and most especially enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren\u2019s many activities and accomplishments. She was a member of the Italian Ladies Mutual Aid Society of Ridgefield and St. Mary Parish. Mrs. Bartolucci is survived by a son, Alfred Bartolucci and his wife, Susan of Ridgefield; two sisters, Ann T. Buccitti and Louise T. Main both of Ridgefield; two grandsons, Andrew Bartolucci and Matthew Bartolucci both of Ridgefield and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:15 AM in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield with Fr. Peter Smolik, Parochial Vicar, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT\u00a0 06492 would be appreciated.
