Robert T. Warner, 66, veteran, local plumbing contractor

Robert T. Warner, 66, of Ridgefield, CT and Kennebunk, ME, owner and operator of R.T. Warner Plumbing and Heating, died surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Danbury Hospital. He was married to Sharon (Mulvaney) Warner, the love of his life, for over 45 years.

Bob was born in Danbury, CT on March 2, 1946, a son of the late John and Clarice (Wilcox) Warner. He attended Danbury schools and graduated from Henry Abbott Technical School in the Class of 1964.

A U.S. Army veteran, he owned and operated the R.T. Warner Plumbing and Heating business for over 40 years, serving customers in Danbury and Ridgefield, CT as well as Pound Ridge, NY. Additionally, he built several homes in Ridgefield.

Bob loved and lived life to the full. He enjoyed dining out, driving his antique Porsche, playing golf, and traveling.

He was a former member of the Rock Ridge Country Club and attended St. Mary Church, Ridgefield.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, Bob is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Warner of Youngsville, NC, and Stephen Warner and his wife, Julie, of Pittsford, NY; six grandsons, Seth of London, England, Mason and Alden of Youngsville, NC, and Jackson, Anderson and Emersyn of Pittsford, NY; two brothers, William Warner of Florida and Roger Warner of North Attleboro, MA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brothers, John and Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 20, 2012, at 1:15 PM in St. Mary Church, 55 Catoonah St., Ridgefield with the Rev. Russell Augustine, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Burial will follow in Ridgebury Cemetery, Ridgefield, with military honors.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 5 PM to 8PM.
