Raymond Pavlovich Sr., 78, project engineer, former resident

Raymond Pavlovich, Sr., 78, of Mashpee, MA., formerly of Yonkers, NY and Ridgefield, CT, died at Jordan Hospital on October 27, 2012.  He was the husband of AnnMarie (Apicella) Pavlovich to whom he was married to for 47 years.

He attended NYU and graduated from Bridgeport Engineering Institute. For 20 years he worked as a project engineer for Philips Medical Systems.  He was an altar server, usher, and Eucharistic minister in his church, Sacred Heart in Georgetown, CT.

He also participated in prison ministry and always helped those in need in his community.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and her husband, Ilona and Edward Sobkowiak; his son, and his wife, Dr. Raymond Pavlovich, Jr. and Ashley Pavlovich; his grandchildren, Ilona Regan, Andrew Regan, and Anthony Pavlovich; his brother John; and his sisters, Wilma Poklemba, Evelyn Timan, and Arlene Doran.  He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Ilona (Dolnan) Pavlovich; his brother Andrew; and his sister Eleanor Fetchick.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave. at Route 151, Mashpee, MA, 02649, followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, Jobs Fishing Rd., Mashpee.  Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery in East Falmouth.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Dementia & Alzheimer's Services, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA  02601.  For on-line guest book and directions, please visit www.ccgfuneralhome.com
