Patricia Brundage, 71, florist, enjoyed painting

Patricia F. Brundage, 71, of Ridgefield died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Oct. 13.

Ms. Brundage was born on July 21, 1943, in Yonkers, N.Y., a daughter of the late Edwin and Frances (Krajeski) Farrington.

Ms. Brundage was a 35-year Ridgefield resident and a member of St. Mary Parish. She was employed as a florist with Richard’s Flower Shop of Norwalk. In addition to her work with flowers, she enjoyed sewing, painting and knitting, her family said.

Ms. Brundage is survived by four children: Matthew Brundage and his wife, Cathleen, of Ridgefield; Laureen Natalino and her husband, Gino, of Bethel; Barbara Brundage of Woodburn, N.Y.; and Tricia Mentnech and her husband, Anthony, of Woodburn, N.Y. She is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Bauer of Enfield and Kathleen Kaefer of Arizona. In addition to her children and sisters, Ms. Brundage is survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ms. Brundage was predeceased by a son, Jay E. Brundage, and his wife, Christine. She was also predeceased by two grandsons, Zachary Brundage and Sean Dodge.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 1 to 3 at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street. A prayer service will be conducted at 2 in the funeral home.
