Obituary: Anthony T. Saracini, 84, of Ridgefield

Anthony T. Saracini, 84, passed away on October 29, 2018 at Danbury Hospital. He lived in Ridgefield for 44 years.

He was the son of Anthony and Ruth Saracini. Tony was predeceased by his parents and his first wife, Barbara and his brother, Eugene.

He was a plumber for 38 years at Vic Skelia Plumbing Company in Harrison, NY. He served in the US Navy aboard the destroyer, The Hancock, during the Korean War.

In his spare time Tony liked to fish. He was a member of The Owls and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 21. He was loved by all for his charming, generous nature.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Laurie, his 3 daughters Celeste, Lisa, Karen Louis (son-in-law), Jack and Stella (grandchildren).  

Also 3 grandsons Scott, Brendan, Dillon, Allison (daugher-in-law), and 2 great-granddaughters, Arianna and Olivia.  

Friends will be received on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment with US Military Honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
