Frank Hubbard, 81, carpenter, Korean War veteran

Frank Hubbard, 81, of Ridgefield, husband of Beverly (Morse) Hubbard, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Danbury Hospital.

Mr. Hubbard was born in Floral Park, NY, October 6, 1931, son of Frank and Catherine (O’Hare) Hubbard.  He attended NY schools.

A Korean War U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Hubbard was a retired carpenter with Local Union # 45.

A 9 year resident coming from North Babylon, NY, he was a former member and volunteer of the First Presbyterian Church of North Babylon and is a present member of the First Congregational Church of Ridgefield.

In addition to his wife, Beverly, Mr. Hubbard is survived by three daughters, Barbara Hubbard of Danbury, Patricia Hubbard Ragette of Brooklyn, NY and Beverly Barton of Ridgefield; a brother; five sisters; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church, Ridgefield with the Rev. Dr. Charles Hambrick-Stowe, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will take place in the CT Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, CT.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM.
