“This is the best thrift shop in the entire world,” exclaimed a recent visitor from China.

We agree. The best merchandise, the best prices, the best customers, and the best volunteers.

Another customer recently told us, “My daughter says she comes down to see me, but I know she really comes so she can go to the thrift shop.”

Something else we often hear is, “I just came to drop something off, and here I am buying something else.”

The Ridgefield Thrift Shop has something for everyone. This week we have an old Malvern clarinet in its original case (perhaps more suitable for decoration than use) and a Helmke black violin in need of new strings, but otherwise in fine condition. For the adventurer, there are two brand-new, nylon Jasper external frame backpacks model 4730. And for those of you still looking for gifts and stocking stuffers, a new Starbucks barista teddy bear may be just right.

Hope to see you soon at 21B Governor Street. We’re open weekdays from 12 to 4 (Thursdays until 8) and Saturdays from 10 to 2. Friend us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram (rfthriftshop) for special events and sales information.
