Recreation Notes: Wobble Wipeout time
The new Wobble Wipeout in the Ridgefield Recreation Center’s indoor pool opens to the public on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 1 to 5 p.m. Members get free entry and others may pay a $10-per-person drop-in fee. Are you up for the challenge? Please note that only people who can swim can experience the Wobble Wipeout, which is a floating bridge. Recreation swim and the tumble buckets will be available for everyone to enjoy.
Bring your family to our free StoryFace Show on Saturday, March 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the recreation center. Christopher Agostino will paint the faces of audience volunteers to illustrate stories as he tells them. It’s a mix of folklore, adventure tales and original stories.
Are you or is someone you know looking for a job this summer? Ridgefield Parks & Recreation is looking for fun, energetic and responsible camp counselors. Applicants, ages 16 or older, should possess experience and love of working with children. Camp counselors should be positive role models and provide campers with an exciting summer.
