ROARings: Sampson’s new chapter
Hi, I’m Sampson! I am a 2-year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I get told a lot how handsome I am, and what a happy smile I have when I greet the staff and volunteers at ROAR.
I was lucky enough to be surrendered to ROAR when my family had to move into an apartment about seven months ago. I sure do love my ROAR family but I think I’m ready to start a new chapter! I love exercise like hikes and runs, chasing bubbles, and recently I have been taking swimming lessons, because I love pools (kiddie size and larger).
Agility equipment and training class have been great in helping me release some of my pent up energy in a positive way. If we fall in love, maybe you could take me to training classes? I really enjoy snuggling with humans whether on your lap or right by your side, yes, even though I am 58 pounds.
I think I would do great in a home with older kids, or none, and hopefully a fellow dog friend; because I haven’t met a dog that I didn’t like and I love running around playing tag.
Come meet me! I am at The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter located at 45 South Street, with adoption hours Thursday through Monday. Go to roar-ridgefield.org for more information or email our adoption coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
