ROARings: A real ladies’ man
Girls, have you been looking for love in all the wrong places? Well, look no further than the ROAR shelter.
Meet Vincent, a 2-year-old German shepherd mix and a real Prince Charming. He is eager to greet gals who walk his way or wag his tail to meet dogs that approach him.
True to his breed, Vincent exhibits loyalty and devotion with the shelter staff and our volunteers. Now, who couldn’t use a bit more devotion in their life?
Shepherds are versatile companions that can handle anything from a small city apartment to a big ranch. They need to live indoors as a member of the family.
Vincent much prefers long walks rather than strenuous exercise like running. He would love to have a forever family, especially one with another dog and possibly adolescent kids.
So ladies, if those romance websites are not working out for you, consider coming by the ROAR shelter to meet this very handsome four-legged fellow. Dogs give unconditional love — try finding that on Match.com.
Vincent’s adoption fee is $350. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter is located at 45 South Street, with adoption hours Thursday through Monday. Go to roar-ridgefield.org to learn more about all the wonderful dogs and cats available at ROAR.
ROAR is grateful to the Bankwell Pet Adoption Project, which creates awareness about the many dogs and cats in need of homes at animal shelters throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.
