Jeff Hatch, a former New York Giant and Tampa Bay Buccaneer, will be at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Monday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. Hatch will be speaking about his battle with opioid addiction, one of the most critical public health crises in America today.

Hatch was an All-American at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. He was drafted in 2002 and played three seasons in the NFL. He has been featured in three documentaries, Hey Rookie, Welcome to the NFL (ESPN), and Goal to Go (CNN/SI), and recently the award-winning Prescription Thugs.

After a long battle with opiates, Hatch is now a man in long-term recovery and uses his years of experience and in-depth understanding of addiction to educate high school and college students. With his humor, exceptional speaking skills and experience as an Ivy League athlete, professional football player, actor, and man in recovery, Hatch engages his audience to discuss a difficult topic.

You will not want to miss this incredible presentation as Jeff shares his story of recovery, strength and hope. This event is most appropriate for adults and high school- and college-aged students, but all ages are welcome.
