As a current member of the Ridgefield Board of Education, I want to thank those many members of the Ridgefield community who provided valuable opinions, thoughts and input to the board about the budget. This community is so very fortunate to have residents who value education and participate in the process.
Those who are disappointed by the board’s decision to reject my proposed amendment to the budget to address the elementary school arts program, please do not feel discouraged. The dialogue on this and other important issues should and will continue.
