Rediscovery of simple pleasures has helped many of us get through the pandemic, whether walking in the woods, baking bread or solving jigsaw puzzles. All of these are great ways to unwind, but puzzles can be especially effective at quieting the day’s brain noise by focusing the mind on a pleasant challenge.
