Nancy Kilborne Fox, 86, formerly a long-time resident of Ridgefield, passed away on July 27, 2018, in Stockton, California. She was born June 18, 1932 in Auburn, New York, and was the daughter of the late Janet O’Hara and Charles “Jeff” Kilborne.

Nancy grew up in Moravia, New York. She graduated from Dana Hall School in Wellesley Massachusetts in 1950, and attended Wells College in Aurora, New York. She married G. Sidney Fox in 1956 in New York City; they had two children and were married for 22 years.

Nancy lived on Deer Hill Drive in Ridgefield for 44 years and was an active member of the community. She was one of a kind and will be remembered for her generous spirit and wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her son, George Fox, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and daughter, Lydia Fox, of Stockton, California; and grandchildren, Ascentia Fox, Matthew Fox-Humphreys, Maia Schierberl, and Lauren and Leslie Fox-Humphreys.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 2nd at the First Congregational Church, 103 Main Street, in Ridgefield. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
