Lynn Borders Caldwell of Montgomeryville, Pa.,  formerly of Ridgefield, died on Feb. 7. She was 51. Ms. Caldwell was and the wife of Lawrence F. Caldwell for 24 years.

Born in Englewood, N.J., Ms. Caldwell was the daughter of Robert L. Borders and the late Caroline A. Borders.

Ms. Caldwell lived in Oradell, N.J., and then Ridgefield before moving with her family to Furlong, Pa., where she graduated from Central Bucks East High School.

After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J., Ms. Caldwell worked as an acquisitions editor in medical book publishing for Slack Incorporated in Thorofare, N.J., and as an editor and marketing director for FA Davis Company in Philadelphia. Most recently Ms. Caldwell provided consulting services to help small companies use social media to promote their business.

Ms. Caldwell’s family said she “always put people first” and volunteered her time in various capacities for organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Gilda’s Club in Warminster, Pa., and Healthlink Medical Center in Southampton, Pa. She also served as a community member on the editorial board for The Intelligencer in Doylestown, Pa.

Ms. Caldwell is also survived by her brothers Craig and spouse Cynthia and Jeffrey and her nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held in Chestnut Hill, Pa., on Wednesday, Feb. 11. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia, Gilda’s Club, 200 Kirk Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
