Donations aid family of 19-year-old, killed in crash
An effort is underway to help the family of a 19-year-old Dunkin Donuts worker who was killed Sunday in a car crash on Route 7 in Danbury.
“We reach out to you and your generous hearts asking for contributions for Ms. Mayra Tenesaca’s burial services,” said Claudia Morgan of Ridgefield, who is organizing the effort.
A graduate from Danbury High School who had turned 19 last Friday, Ms. Tenesaca was “a hard working and diligent employee from our local Dunkin’ Donuts located at 52 Danbury Road in Ridgefield,” she said.
“Mayra served Ridgefield patrons with attentiveness and kindness. She was a thoughtful young lady and she will be deeply missed by her family, coworkers and friends.
Ms. Morgan said Ms. Mayra’s family has limited funds to pay for burial services and contributions would be greatly appreciated.
“As a mother myself, I cannot imagine losing a child, much less trying to figure out how to pay for a proper burial,”
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday morning, April 12, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Golden Hill Rd., Danbury.
Burial was in St. Peter Cemetery.
“If you find it in your hearts to make a contribution, kindly do so directly to Mayra’s mother: Mrs. Maria Tenesaca at 14 Shepard Road, Danbury, CT 06810,” said Ms. Morgan.
