Anthony Faga Jr., 67, of Danbury, CT, passed away Thursday, July 14th, surrounded by his family. Anthony was born in New York, NY in March of 1949 to Anthony and Susie Faga. He graduated from Bishop Ford High School in Brooklyn, NY where he built lifelong friendships. He continued his education at St. Francis College and went on to earn his MBA from Fordham University, and then to build a lifelong career at IBM. On July 24, 1971 he married his best friend and partner, Helen Behrens. Over the next six years, they had three children, Cheryl, Michael, and Dennis He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially traveling with them. He saw the world and made friends in every corner near and far. He was charitable with his time to the Boy Scouts and the Bishop Ford Alumni. Tony loved music, books, food, and experiencing life. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen, daughter, Cheryl and her husband, Bryan, son, Michael and his wife, Laura and son, Dennis and his wife, Rebecca; 6 adored grandchildren, Calleigh, Alexa, Christopher, Kyan, Connor and Mara; his mother, Susie, brother, Richard and sister Lorraine. Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. A Mass of Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 520 Ridgebury Rd., Ridgefield. Interment will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers: Global Missionaries of the Catholic Church, 55 Ryder Rd., Ossining, NY 10545 or to Franciscan Bread for the Poor, 144 W. 32nd St., New York, NY 10001.
