With their budget work done, the Board of Selectmen has cancelled the meeting that was on their schedule for Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m.

The took the action Thursday night, after polishing up the $38.3 million town departments budget they'd approved Tuesday by adding $10,000 for the RVNA to community grants, and compensating with a $10,000 reduction to a $4.6 million health insurance account.

That budget, along with the school board's request for $94.9 million budget that would be a 4.23% increase, will go next to the Board of Finance  and, eventually, to town voters.
