With two unanimous votes, the Board of Finance re-elected David Ulmer as its chairman and elected Jessica Mancini as its vice chairwoman Tuesday night, Jan. 17.

Both are Democrats, and Ullmer has led the board since 2012, after a Democratic majority was first elected in November 2011. This is Mancini’s first term as vice-chair.

“The board works well together; We’ve done a good job for the town,” Ulmer said asked about his re-election to a fifth term as chairman of the board that oversees the both town and school budgeting, and the rate RIdgefield taxpayers pay.

“Our job is easier when the Board of Selectmen and board of finance do their jobs,” he added.
