Accenté Salon will be opening a new location at 413 Main Street.

The Danbury-based hair stylist studio will open a second location in the space vacated by Tom-Tom’s All American Restaurant, owner Maria Rullo confirmed to The Press.

An application for a new building and window sign were received by the Planning and Zoning Commission at its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The application was filed under Stalzer Design, a Norwalk-based architecture firm.

The Press reported in September 2017 that the space used by Tom-Tom’s would be divided, with 820 square feet on the street-level address to be converted into a “spa/salon.”

The lower level has been approved as a fitness center, but no application for a new sign has been received by the zoning office, Assistant Town Planner Adam Schnell told The Press.

A European pastry shop named Kafo is also slated to take part of the former Tom-Tom’s space next door at 417 Main Street. That business received approval for a sign on Dec. 5.

GAJ LLC owns the umbrella address — 411 Main Street — for all three businesses renting the former Tom-Tom’s storefront.
