On March 6, 22 Ridgefield High School juniors and seniors competed in the 66th annual State Career Development Conference for the Connecticut Association of DECA. More than 1,000 Connecticut high school students gathered in Plantsville to compete in 47 different business sector challenges.

The following students won in their categories: Jason Bangser (third place, automotive services); Sophia Carnicelli and Anna Hirsch (gold, financial services); Taylor Brand, Lindsay Toia and Lexi Vucci (third place, advertising campaign); and Grace Dinkel and Madison Cone (second place, hospitality services).
