Voter registration deadline is Oct. 30
Election Day is Tuesday Nov. 6, and polling locations at East Ridge Middle School, Scotts Ridge Middle School and Yanity Gym will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Those who want to register to vote are encouraged to do so in advance of Election Day in person, by mail or online before Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Mail applications must be postmarked by the seventh day prior to Election Day — Oct. 30. In person applicants must appear in person at the Registrar of Voters office on that same day prior to 8 p.m. Online applicants must fill out an application that same day prior to 8 p.m. at voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do
The Registrar of Voters office will also accept Election Day registration from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for individuals who meet the eligibility requirements for voting and are not already registered to vote. A current valid ID and proof of current residential address must be presented. For more information call 203-431-2771.
Property owners who are not registered to vote in Ridgefield may vote off the Grand List for the WPCA referendum question only at Yanity Gym on Nov. 6 or in the Town Clerk’s office until Monday, Nov. 5, at 4:30 p.m.
