Republicans look to fill empty Police Commission seat
The Ridgefield Republican Town Commission is seeking candidates to fill a vacant seat on the Police Commission. Long-time Police Commissioner Charlie Knoche has resigned from his position as he will be moving out of the Ridgefield area.
Per the town’s charter, the Commission has 30 days to fill the vacancy, and must fill the vacancy with an individual with the same party affiliation as the resigning member.
The RTC intends to endorse a candidate for the Commission’s consideration in filling Mr. Knoche’s seat.
Interested applicants should send a statement of interest and detailed resume or biography demonstrating their qualifications for the slot to email@example.com. Interested candidates may also submit their resume to Marcie Coffin, Secretary of the Board of Ridgefield Police Commissioners, at the Ridgefield Police Station, 76 E Ridge Road, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
