Rear-ending leads to charges for Bethel man
Ridgefield police issued an infraction to a Bethel man after a two-car accident on Ridgebury Road near the intersection of Ned’s Mountain Road on Thursday, April 26, at 4:31 p.m.
Isaac Labarbera, 19, was cited for following too closely and failing to drive to the right, after he reportedly crashed into the car in front of him. The collision caused both cars to run off the road. He was also charged with possession of less than one half-ounce of marijuana.
Labarbera and his passenger, a Ridgefield woman, were taken to Danbury Hospital by the fire department’s ambulance. The driver of the other car, a 49-year-old Ridgefield woman, was not taken to the hospital. Both cars were towed from the scene.
