A New Fairfield man was arrested for driving under the influence at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25.

Police said Jonathan Valentine, 28, was also charged with driving without a license.

A report said an officer saw Valentine’s vehicle with its headlights turned off, while stopped at a green light on Copps Hill Road.

When police pulled the car over, they determined Valentine was driving under the influence and without a license.

He was processed at police headquarters and released after posting $500 in bond. He is set to appear in court on Wednesday, March 14.
