A residential home at 45 Lake Road burned to the ground during the early morning hours Monday, Oct. 15.

According to authorities, the home’s alarm went off at 1:35 a.m..

Authorities at the scene said no one was injured.

All four walls of the two-and-a-half story home collapsed in the blaze, with the home’s brick chimney the only remaining structure still standing.

The wreckage was smoldering as of 10 a.m. Monday, with smoke reported at the scene.

Authorities on scene said the investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing, and crews are currently removing debris to assess the site.

The two-and-a-half story house was reportedly the only building damaged in the fire.
