A Wilton man was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane on Danbury Road at 11:38 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16.
Ridgefield police said the 29-year-old driver crashed his car into a guardrail near the area of 746 Danbury Road.
An investigation revealed the driver was unconscious due to a drug overdose. He was given Narcan by Ridgefield police and revived. The driver taken to Danbury Hospital for further evaluation. 
According to a report, a passenger was found out of the vehicle hiding objects in the woods. Ridgefield police said that incident is currently under investigation.
The car suffered extensive damage from the one-car collision and was towed from the scene.
He is scheduled to appear in court Monday, March 4.
