Cash, purse stolen from Revere Drive car

Ridgefield police are investigating a larceny on Revere Drive that took place overnight on May 11.

According to a report, about $400 and a purse were stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the home’s driveway.

Police said the homeowner did not report the items stolen until Thursday, May 24.

The last vehicle larceny in Ridgefield took place on Old Sib Road on April 25. 

Prior to that incident, Ridgefield police investigated several similar cases in 2018 — including one at the rec center in January — and more than 15 last year.
