A Greenwich man was arrested for larceny in the third degree around 12:30 a.m. at Ridgefield police headquarters Sunday, Feb. 11.

Police said Krzysztof Kalinowski, 43, was arrested in Bridgeport Saturday, Feb. 10, and transported overnight to Ridgefield, where he was processed on an outstanding warrant that stemmed from an Oct. 19 2017, incident in town.

According to a report, Kalinowski borrowed a friend’s car and failed to return it.

Ridgefield police Capt. Jeff Kreitz said the car theft was not related to any other stolen motor vehicles reported in town.

Kalinowski was released from custody after posting bond of $5,000. He is set to appear in court Wednesday, Feb. 28.
