One of Main Street's vacant storefronts will have a new tenant this spring. Tablao Wine Bar and Restaurant has announced plans to move into the former Fifty Coins space at 426 Main Street in downtown Ridgefield. Fifty Coins closed in 2016 and the location has remained unoccupied for three years. Tablao, which has a location in South Norwalk that opened in 2016, is a tapas bar that offers Mediterranean-inspired food. The restaurant's owners \u2014 Juan \u2018Vinny\u2019 Gonzalez, Galo Aleman, and Jose-Luis Contreras \u2014 have applied to place two signs, one on an awning and a second "blade sign facing Main Street." The application will be review by the Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday, Feb. 19.
