Thursday's snowfall could end bringing as much as a foot of fresh powder to Ridgefield's streets. That and heavy winds \u2014 expected to reach as high as 55 miles per hour in some parts of the state \u2014 are keeping those streets pretty near empty. The Press scoped the village around 11 a.m. Thursday and saw only about a dozen or so drivers around town. Most offices and buildings are closed. A few businesses are opening, including the Prospector Theater and Dimitris on Prospect Street.
