A Ridgefield High School senior who found working on the Kindness Mural inspiring, Jenna Harford, has been appointed as a teen adviser to the RIdgefield Youth Commission. \u201cIt really does spread kindness,\u201d she said of the abstract mural overlooking Governor Street from the side of The Barn teen center. \u201cNow, every time I drive by I think: I helped create that.\u201d Harford also said she\u2019d done work with the Prevention Council. \u201cWhat do you hoped to accomplish?\u201d Selectman Bob Hebert asked. \u201cOne of my goals would be to encourage younger students to join,\u201d Harford said. She was appointed on a 5-to-0 vote of the selectmen in December.
