Wooster School names Ridgefield graduates

The following Ridgefield students graduated from Wooster School, also earning awards:
Cooper Byrnes, son of Matt Byrnes and Madyn Gwynne; Wooster School: Athletic Commitment Award and Edward W. Robinson ’37 Award. Cooper will be attending Boston College and is the recipient of the United States Army ROTC Scholarship;
Niav Doyle, daughter of David Doyle and Pam Custode; will be attending Skidmore College; Sam MacMillan, son of Douglas and Brenda MacMillan of Ridgefield; will be attending High Point University;
Sawyer Moore, son of Heather Moore of Ridgefield, and the late Jeffrey Moore of Danbury; will be attending High Point University;
Jacob Smith, son of Kolleen Dibble-Smith of Danbury, and Stephen Smith of Ridgefield; Wooster School: Athletic Commitment Award and Alvah Jessup ’49 Award for Outstanding Athlete. He will be attending Colorado College where he also will be committed to playing lacrosse;
Charles Snow, son of Logan and Patricia Snow of Ridgefield; Wooster School: Scott Schwartz ’91 Theatre Prize. Charles will be attending the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is the recipient of a WPI Presidential Merit Scholarship and Global Scholarship and two NYS AMVETS Scholarships;
Connor Staub, son of Kathrine Grissom of Ridgefield; Wooster School: Music Prize. Connor will be attending Elon University;
Tyler Wagnblas, son of Steven and Ann Wagnblas of Ridgefield; Wooster School: Aaron C. Coburn Award (Top 5 Award Announced at Commencement), Athletic Commitment Award, and Thomas Wilcox ’66 Award for School Spirit in Competitive Athletics. Tyler will be attending University of Maryland, College Park;
Haobo (Martin) Wang, son of Yantong Wang and Lixin Liu of Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China and host parent Joanne Bailis of Ridgefield; will be attending Colby College.
