Karen Sulzinsky will serve another year on the town’s Economic and Community Development Commission — the ECDC. And the seven-member agency has a remaining seat to fill.

“Ideally we’d like someone to get deeper with the website — that would be a very important skill set we’re looking for,” Sulzinsky told the selectmen when they interviewed her May 9 for reappointment to the seat she’s held for year.

Sulzinsky, who was interviewed on May 9 for reappointment to the seat she’s held for year, said she’s worked on projects ranging from the first-floor retail initiative to the “gold book” of discounts for seniors.

“I can’t believe it’s been a year,” she said.

Sulzinsky’s reappointment was unanimously approved by the Board of Selectmen.

The remaining vacancy on the ECDC was left by Bob DeFalco, who retired from the commission earlier this year after doing a lot of key work on upgrading the commission’s website, www.ridgefielddevelopment.com.
