Ridgefield Mobil gives STEM grant to school
Local resident and Ridgefield Mobil co-owner Todd Schoenherr presented a $500 check to East Ridge Middle School Principal Patricia Raneri from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance in December.
The alliance supports STEM education in local communities as ExxonMobil believes it is fundamentally important to encourage the next generation to pursue studies and careers in these fields. Since its inception, ExxonMobil has committed over $34 million to this nationwide initiative.
This is the fourth year that Ridgefield Mobil has secured a check for a local school. With five children in East Ridge and Farmingville, Todd and co-owner Seth Evans are “thrilled to be able to give back to the community.”
