Ridgefield Answers the Call: World War I exhibit debuts Tuesday

An exhibit of a series of ten display posters created by local graphic artist Bill Mikulewicz, which commemorate the end of WW, will be on view from July 3 – 30 at the Ridgefield Library Gallery. An opening wine and cheese reception will take place in the gallery on the lower level on Saturday, July 7 from 1 – 3 p.m. At the opening, meet and engage with the artist and members of the Ridgefield Historical Society research team who collaborated on the exhibit: Kay Ables, Town Historian; Bunny Lancaster; Sharon Dunphy; Betsy Reid; and Sara Champion.

This exhibit, presented by the Ridgefield Historical Society and the Ridgefield Library, is part of “Ridgefield Remembers WW1,” a town-wide commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the war.
