Northern Fairfield County Probate Judge Daniel O'Grady was re-elected for another four year term on Nov. 6, 2018. He was administered the Oath of Office by Chief Clerk Jacqueline Buckle. O'Grady was first elected in 1990 and served as Judge in the Bethel District for 20 years. He was elected Regional Judge in 2016.

Probate courts are generally associated with overseeing trusts and estates. In addition, the courts handle a broad range of cases involving children, seniors, persons with mental illness and adults with intellectual disability.
