Prevention Council, Boys and Girls Club to host fall carnival Sept. 21-23
Looking for something fun to do this weekend with the family? The Ridgefield Prevention Council (RPC) and the Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club (B&GC) are proud to bring a fall carnival to town this weekend. The carnival will be held on the front field of the recreation center on Route 35. The dates are Friday, Sept. 21, 6 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 22, 4 to 10 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 23, 12 to 5 p.m. Plenty of parking is available at the recreation center and the parking lot by the bridge on Route 35.
Unlimited ride armbands are available at the event. Individual ride tickets are also available. Rides take multiple tickets. Food is available for purchase. Carnival games and prizes round out the fun. It’s a great community activity for all ages.
Both the RPC and the B&GC are non-profit organizations and this is the only fundraiser the RPC holds. Proceeds from the carnival go to ongoing programming at B&GC and substance abuse educational materials as well as awareness and prevention programs hosted by RPC and free to the public thanks to this fundraiser.
