Residents are invited to attend a talk at the Ridgefield Library, on Thursday, May 31, that will cover the Norwalk River Watershed Association’s planned activities for 2018.

After the NRWA's annual meeting at 6:30, attendees can hear fish and wildlife biologist Bill Lucey at 7 p.m. The talk will give background on the Soundkeeper Movement and describe how pollution impacts Long Island Sound and how water quality is being monitored to track progress.

In addition to regular patrols, the Soundkeeper, now part of Save the Sound, acts as advocate, organizer and resource. Register at Ridgefieldlibrary.org.
